VodtoVid turns long recordings into short videos.
It watches a recording, picks out the moments worth sharing, cuts them into finished vertical videos, and uploads them to the YouTube channel of the person who connected it.
What it does
- Finds the moments. It transcribes the recording and ranks the stretches most likely to work on their own.
- Cuts the clips. Each one is cropped to vertical, captioned, and given a short title.
- Publishes to your channel. Finished clips are uploaded to YouTube through Google's official API, only to a channel the owner has connected.
Who runs it
This is a private tool operated by VodtoVid. It is not a public service and has no sign-up. It is used by its operator, and by creators who have asked for their own channel to be connected.
When a channel is connected, Google shows exactly which permissions VodtoVid is asking for. The privacy policy lists them and says what happens to the data. The terms are short.
